There are lots of tooth whitening products on the market. But if you’ve tried plastic strips or whitening toothpastes, you’ve probably realized that they don’t make that much of a difference – and they certainly don’t give you the dramatic, whiter smile you see in ads.

At DS Dental, we offer two options for whiter teeth.

In-office Zoom!® Whitening

It’s fast (you’re only in the chair for about an hour) and the results are remarkable, with an average improvement of eight shades.

In a Zoom! treatment, we start off by protecting your lips and gums. Then we apply whitening gel to your teeth and shine a special light into your mouth to activate it. The light and gel work together to gently penetrate your teeth and break up stains and discolourations. All you have to do is sit back and relax. And once you’re done, we will send you home with a kit that will allow you to do “touch-ups” that will keep your smile bright even longer.

Take-home whitening

If whitening is your goal, but Zoom! isn’t in your budget, take-home whitening can be a good alternative that lets you whiten your teeth at your own pace. We will make custom trays that fit your teeth, and provide you with a gel to use in those trays. The whole process takes about two to three weeks, and the results are great.
